Infinity & HpsyV

Nikolaos Outis from Hellas, is the man behind the projects ‘Infinity’, ‘HpsyV’ and ‘Progenitor’. With much enthusiasm, ambition and strong influences from the European old-school psychedelic music (1998-2002), Nikolaos creates deep and melodic psy-gressive oriented music, mostly under his solo main project Infinity. His productions incorporate a strong rhythmic and musical feel, whilst remaining deep and stormy, a combination which gets any progressive floor moving. During the years, Infinity signed numerous releases on several labels such as: Blue Tunes, Mikrokosmos, Y.S.E., Spintwist, Iono Music, Infinity-Tunes and more. In 2016, Nikolaos created a new psychedelic side project, ‘HpsyV’. With this new project, he specifically produces aggressive psytrance music, with fat bass lines, crazy effects, flexible-modernistic and fancy ideas, while his sound is rugged, distorted, intelligent, twisted, bumpy and hot. Something like a peculiar ‘combo’ music-virus.

Alongside, Nikolaos deals with graphics, mixing-mastering, web design and label management. In 2014 he gave birth to his record label “Infinity-Tunes”. A record label that helped with selfless intentions and true commitment new and upcoming artists to release their musical productions, and display their music in some of the most popular online platforms, while providing them with stem mix, mastering services and decent graphic arts. Since 2022, Nikolaos has been studying at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with the aim of completing his studies in history and law, until he obtains both diplomas. The demands of university, the courses and the time needed to study, require a lot of energy, which makes Nikolaos devote himself to it. This is the main reason why Infinity-Tunes Records was abruptly interrupted and stopped releasing new material at the end of 2021. However, after three years since then, the label is now active again. This time working at a more relaxed pace, adapted to the new technological needs that the era demands and choosing more carefully musical stories of emerging artists, paying special attention to the mix quality and the character of each track.

At the same time, when Nikolaos finds time, he is working on new HpsyV tracks and also at his third and final Infinity album, which will include the best of his unreleased progressive morning productions so far, a distillate of melodic anthems, imbued with the glamour of his long-standing experience and his aesthetic, characteristic and boastful musical touch…
