Infinity-Tunes Records is proud to present you one of the hottest, memorable and fresh releases of this winter: the brand new digital EP from Drollkoppz, ‘Shaman Tourist’! Behind the name ‘Drollkoppz’, we find Lars Jensen and Christoph Peters from Germany. As turns out, the daring German adventurers advanced into the depths of the psy-progressive vortex and discovered frequencies rarely heard before. Both of them had been connected to the scene for a long time, when they finally met up in 2010 to start producing their own music. In 2011 their first tracks where released on well known German progressive labels and since then they put out releases on several compilations and created three more EPs. Being a prime example for the fruitful creativity of the German scene, they manage to weave a trancy crunchiness into sleek, rolling grooves. In this way, the rhythmic thrust of the tracks is sometimes dominated by the one element, and then again by another. While Christoph is influenced by training on classical instruments and his love for the oldschool styles, Lars took inspiration from over a decade of playing out as a DJ developing a unique and groovy flavor for his sets. In this fourth and more mature package of them, you will listen to a mindblowing collection of three previously unreleased deep and energetic psychedelic tracks, each of them made for courting you to stand up and move with the unmistakable signature of ‘Drollkoppz’.
